SANDAKAN: Sabah’s pristine rainforests will serve as the backdrop for the first ever month-long Malaysian Rainforest Flora and Fauna Festival scheduled to be held here in August next year.
Describing Sabah’s forests as an “emerald,” Malaysian Landscape Advisory Panel chairman Datin Seri Jeanne Abdullah said it was only appropriate for the inaugural event to be held at the Rainforest Discovery Centre (RDC), some 30km from this east coast town.
