KUALA LUMPUR: Measures adopted following an in-house study by the Information Ministry have resulted in a sharp rise in the number of viewers of the two television channels operated by Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM).
An improvement in the television programmes and a rescheduling of broadcast times following the study had raised the ratings of RTM1 and RTM2, said ministry secretary-general Datuk Kamaruddin Siaraf.
