AW101 Merlin a good bet to replace the Nuris, say makers

LANGKAWI: AugustaWestland, which is bidding for a contract to replace the Royal Malaysian Air Force Nuri helicopters, says its AW101 Merlin has an advantage over other helicopters. 

AugustaWestland (M) Sdn Bhd director Peter Richings said the AW101 had the ability to meet all RMAF tender specifications as they had already been built and designed to meet those requirements.
