KUALA LUMPUR: An inspiration for the future is how former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who mooted the Malaysian space programme, described the nation’s first astronaut Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor.
“What he will share with the people will be a source of inspiration for the coming generations,” the former prime minister said in a statement.
