Teen goes viral after throwing brick from flat upper floor

PETALING JAYA: Social media users are crying foul over a viral video where a teenager was seen throwing a brick from the upper floor of a flat.

In the 34-second closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage, dated Friday (April 10), the teenager could be seen picking up a brick from a pile along a walkway.

He then peeked over the wall and checked his surroundings before throwing the brick from the upper floor.

The teenager then quickly ducked and waited for several seconds before walking away.

Social media users have called on the authorities to take action, stressing that the falling object could have been fatal to anyone below.

In 2018, a 15-year-old boy was killed when an office chair thrown from the 21st floor of the Seri Pantai People's Housing Project (PPR) struck him.
