NEW YORK: The crackdown on protests in Myanmar shows that Asean’s constructive engagement with the military government of that country has failed, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said.
“It has been the formula used when we deal with Myanmar but up to this stage, it has not been successful although it has been many years already,” the Prime Minister said.
