Orphanage for Acehnese

ACEH: The Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRCS) has funded and built a RM8.5mil orphanage to house 200 children affected by the tsunami that devastated Indonesia on Dec 26, 2004. 

MRCS deputy national chairman Hisham Harun Hashim said the Mina Raya Foundation orphanage was equipped with separate hostels for boys and girls, a canteen, a prayer room, classrooms and a recreational area on a 1.6ha site.
