Stop chasing after ISO certs

KUALA LUMPUR: Hospitals have been urged to stop chasing after ISO certifications, and instead concentrate on serving patients and attaining accreditation of international standard. 

Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek said ISO certification only dealt with administrative procedures and management, and was not the actual gauge of quality of services.
