KOTA BARU: Eight developers will be charged in court soon with violating the environmental impact assessment (EIA) conditions while carrying out work in the Lojing Highlands in Gua Musang.

Natural Resources and Environment Ministry parliamentary secretary Datuk Sazmi Miah said they would be charged together once all the charge sheets on the offences committed were completed in two weeks. “The charge sheets pertaining to three of the developers are ready but we'll wait for all to be ready as it's not fair to charge the three first,” he told reporters after the handing-over of the infrastructure work block of the Survey and Mapping Department's eKadaster project here yesterday.
