Telecentres not fully utilised


PUTRAJAYA: Telecentres, built in rural neighbourhoods in the country to bridge the digital gap with urban areas, are under-utilised by rural folk. 

Energy, Water and Communications Minister Datuk Seri Dr Lim Keng Yaik said many rural folk just use these telecentres to check their e-mail, browse the Internet and use some computer applications.
