Kolam with ketupat background to reflect Deeparaya mood


MALACCA: A kolam featuring an Indian oil lamp and pelita, with a colorful ketupat background, was created by a group of Chinese and Malay students of SMJK Yok Bin to reflect the Deeparaya mood. 

Students from the interact club of the school - Low Shi Seng, Tan See Huai, Lee Pu Yun, Law Shwu Mei, Nur Sheryama Maarof, Kee Poh Chee and Hiew Fong Lian - said it took them one day to complete the kolam.
