KUALA LUMPUR: Negotiations on a salary increase for rubber tappers and plantation workers between the National Union of Plantation Workers (NUPW) and the Malayan Agricultural Producers Association (Mapa) have broken down.
NUPW executive secretary A. Navamukundan said Mapa has rejected the union’s proposals at the second round of talks on Friday.
