Timber tycoon dies of cancer

KUCHING: Sarawak timber tycoon Datuk Lau Hui Kang died in Singapore last night after a long battle with cancer at age 83.

He leaves behind wife Datin Wong Suk Ting, three sons, a daughter and several grandchildren.
