PUTRAJAYA: A religious teacher who wanted to get leave to appeal against a High Court conviction and jail sentence for molesting a 14-year-old girl, was described as a “serpent” by the Court of Appeal.
Far from granting Ishak Saari leave to appeal against a High Court's two-year sentence, the Bench instead restored the original four-year sentence passed by a magistrate's court on Jan 28, 2004.
