Development programmes better than cash aid

PETALING JAYA: The additional aid from the Social Welfare Department should in the form of development programmes and not cash, suggested National Council of Welfare and Social Development vice-chairman and Selangor Cheshire Home president Khatijah Sulieman.  

“They should have a development programme for the children with programmes such as tuition and vocational skills.
