Step into the unknown with Neil Armstrong

KUALA LUMPUR: Neil Armstrong, the first man to step on the moon, will be in Malaysia for the Global Leadership Forum at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre on Sept 6 and Sept 7. 

The man who immortalised the phrase “That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind” when he stepped on the moon will speak on the topic “Into the Unknown.”

Other speakers for the forum, themed “Leadership, Innovation and Branding”, will include former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, Singapore Foreign Affairs Minister George Yeo, The Body Shop founder Dame Anita Roddick, Nobel Laureate Joseph Stiglitz, British Telecom chairman Sir Christopher Bland, the first winner of the popular show The Apprentice Bill Rancic, Sun Tzu's Art of War strategist Chin-Ning Chu and AirAsia Bhd chief executive officer (CEO) Tony Fernandes. 

Foundation for the Future CEO Prof Azman Ujang said the forum was a milestone in making Malaysia an intellectual hub for world-class dialogues and events. 

“For the participants, it is an opportunity to take advantage of a truly unique networking opportunity.  

“With the help of recognised world leaders – dynamic personalities who have achieved much through strategic business practices and extensive personal experiences – the participants will be able to exchange ideas and achieve practical solutions,” he said. 

He added that the forum was limited to 3,000 participants.
