PETALING JAYA: The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) requirement for future development in the country will depend not only on the size but also the nature of the project, Natural Resources and Environment Minister Datuk Seri Adenan Satem said.
Commenting on Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi’s concern on the damage around the Bukit Cahaya Seri Alam Agriculture Park in Shah Alam, Adenan said future projects requiring an EIA report might be less than 20ha.
