Deparment gets two new tasks for next year

PUTRAJAYA: The Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) will have two additional enforcement tasks next year – to deal with smoking in workplaces and formulating regulations on indoor air quality. 

Human Resources Minister Datuk Dr Fong Chan Onn said DOSH had been instructed to formulate the regulations for workplaces such as restaurants, pubs and casinos, and that they should be ready by May.
