THE Tamil press has highlighted a proposal by Malaysia to the Indian government to operate cruise services from Chennai in Tamil Nadu to Port Klang.
Both Malaysia Nanban and Tamil Nesan quoted Malaysian External Trade and Development Corporation chairman Tan Sri Halim Mohamad as making the proposal during his meeting with Indian Minister for Shipping and Transport T.R. Balu in New Delhi on Monday.
