IPOH: An election petition hearing to nullify the results of the Pantai Remis state seat has been postponed because the petitioner’s counsel is in Hong Kong.
Tan King Le, who stood in for Wong Chong Sang’s counsel Datuk Muhammad Shafee Abdullah in yesterday’s proceeding, said Muhammad Shafee was still in Hong Kong handling Tan Sri Eric Chia’s criminal breach of trust case and could not return to Malaysia on time for the proceeding.
