Clean-up plan for Tasik Chini

PETALING JAYA: Tasik Chini in Pahang will have a chance to return to its days of clean clear waters if recommendations by the Drainage and Irrigation Department (DID) to open up the lock gate of the weir is approved. 

The authority will be submitting its recommendations – to flush out the heavily polluted water from the lake into Sungai Pahang – to the Pahang Government this week for approval.
