KUALA LUMPUR: The alignment of the East Coast Highway should not be changed as it will involve more compensation, relocation of houses and slow down land acquisition.
Works Minister Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu said the current alignment of the highways second phase required fewer houses to be relocated and would speed up land acquisition tremendously.
