24 deviant religious groups identified

A TOTAL of 24 out of the 60 active Islamic teaching groups in Selangor have been gazetted as deviant since 1991, Berita Minggu reported yesterday. 

Quoting Selangor Religious Affairs Committee chairman Datuk Abdul Rahman Palil, the paper said three of the 24 had been newly gazetted as deviant groups.
