SHAH ALAM: Hanif Basree is supposed to report to work at the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) within seven days, said council secretary Nordin Sulaiman.
“He can resume work as the court has declared him free of any wrongdoing. He was on half-pay monthly leave pending the outcome of his trial,” said Nordin when interviewed.
When reporters went to Hanif’s residence here, the security guard of the condominium complex said there had been instructions not to allow the press in.
A relative said Hanif had gone to the Shah Alam mosque to pray after his release but the presence of so many reporters waiting to interview him forced him to seek refuge at a relative’s house.
