A-G: Justify allocation cut

KUALA LUMPUR: The allocation for various rural fishermen development projects in Perak was slashed from RM7mil to RM1.5mil during the Eighth Malaysia Plan period, the Auditor-General's Report 2002 revealed.  

The report said the state development office did not provide any working papers to justify the slashing of the budget.
