THE Government will conduct stringent checks on tourists arriving from certain countries to prevent them from overstaying, said Deputy Home Affairs Minister Datuk Tan Chai Ho.
The checks would include asking the tourists to show their return air tickets and their travel plans while in the country, he was quoted as saying by Nanyang Siang Pau.
