Friday hearing for appeal to stop ‘defamation’


PUTRAJAYA: The Court of Appeal will hear on Friday an appeal by state Umno deputy chairman Datuk Idris Jusoh to stop Terengganu Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang and five others from continuing to defame him. 

Court of Appeal judges Richard Malanjum, Hashim Mohd Yusoff and Tengku Baharudin Shah Tengku Mahmud who postponed yesterday’s proceedings told lawyers representing the parties that they had to attend a meeting.
