MALACCA: Guidelines on how to handle the bird flu would be issued by the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) to chicken farmers, workers and those handling farm products next week.
DOSH deputy director Dr Zainul Abidin Md Hussein said the guidelines, covering the responsibilities and precautionary measures to avoid being infected, were developed after consultations with the Veterinary Department and Health Ministry.
