KUALA LUMPUR: A former chief operating officer of a Telekom Malaysia Berhad business unit was charged with corrupt practice for agreeing to accept three airline tickets from a carpet contractor.
Datuk Ibrahim Md Nassir, 56, who was formerly with Service Co, a business unit of Telekom at that time, claimed trial to a charge of consenting to accept Malaysia Airlines tickets worth RM37,806 for a return trip to London from Kuala Lumpur, for himself, his wife and child from Putrajaya Bumi Holding Sdn Bhd general manager Kamal Amir Kamal Hijjaz in 2001.
