KUALA LUMPUR: An Indonesian storekeeper claimed trial in the Sessions Court to raping a student in his house last year, having false documents and holding an identity card which did not belong to him.

Reka Syahrel Abd Rahman, 22, is alleged to have raped the 15-year-old girl in a room of his house at Taman Sungai Besi in Salak South between 11am and 2pm on Dec 21.

He is also accused of having a passport and a visitation pass (temporary work) that were not genuine, at the same place at 10.30pm on Jan 8 this year.

He also faces a further charge of having an identity card in the name of Abdullah Ahmad, at the same place and time.

Earlier, Deputy Public Prosecutor Faizah Mohd Salleh argued that the offence was not bailable.

Judge Akhtar Tahir denied bail to Reka.

Judge Akhtar set four days for the trial beginning July 27.
