MALACCA: The statue of Admiral Zheng He, which was imported from China in 1991 and kept in Bukit Gedong, has been placed in the Stadhuys courtyard near Gallery Cheng Ho.
This marks the end of controversy over finding a home for the statue. The 4m-high statue, bought by Malacca Chinese Assembly Hall (MCAH) for RM20,000, was placed in the courtyard yesterday.
