PETALING JAYA: The teaching profession has echoed the Prime Minister’s sentiment that schools should focus on teaching and learning rather than beautifying their physical form.
“Education planners should not get carried away and spend extravagantly on beautifying the school as what is more important is the academic pursuit,” said National Union of the Teaching Profession secretary-general Lok Yim Pheng.
