KUALA LUMPUR: Two ministries have made it compulsory for their staff to wear batik to work on Saturday to promote the craft as advised by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi early this month.
Entrepreneur Development Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz said he had issued a directive to his ministry staff to don batik on those days.
