KUANTAN: Continuous rain since 7.30pm on Friday night, coupled with an unexpectedly high tide, led to another round of floods in the district and the evacuation of more than1,000 people.
Teluk Chempedak beach was cut off from the rest of the town by 11pm on Friday, and the Teluk Sisek road, one of the three access roads to the beach from here, was submerged at several stretches.
