IPOH: The State Immigration Department arrested 12 foreign workers from two iron factories at the Tasek Industrial Area here for various offences under the Immigration Act.
Department director Datuk Ishak Mohamed said seven Bangladeshis, three Nepalese and two Vietnamese men aged between 23 and 36 were detained during the one-hour operation at 11am yesterday.
