PETALING JAYA: Granting the public the right to know the status of their police reports will make the police more accountable and responsible in their investigations of seizable offences, said the Bar Council and the Women’s Aid Organisation (WAO).
Both council chairman Khutubul Zaman Bukhari and WAO law reform officer Wathshlah G. Naidu welcomed the proposed amendments to Sections 107, 110 and 120 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
