KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysians took in the Merdeka mood in jubilant spirit yesterday as hundreds of thousands joined in celebrations throughout the country to usher in the 46th national day.
The Merdeka eve revelry seemed to take place everywhere – from the historic grounds of Dataran Merdeka, to Dataran Putra in Putrajaya, the Kuala Lumpur City Centre, the Sepang F1 circuit, and to town squares throughout the country.
