KUCHING: The Sarawak Immigration Department has warned people who have been blacklisted not to enter the state without approval.

Those caught at the Kuching International Airport or any entry point would be stopped upon arrival and denied entry, said state director Robert Lian, in commenting on the case of Suaram executive director Cynthia Gabriel who was barred from entering Sarawak on Monday at the Miri airport. She was supposed to attend a private function organised by the Borneo Resources Institute.
