KUALA LUMPUR: There is an urgent need to define the gender issues related to information communication technology (ICT) in a more concrete manner, said Energy, Communication and Multimedia Minister Datuk Amar Leo Moggie.
He said there seemed to be sufficient evidence that women tend to be marginalised in ICT development but statistical data was insufficient to support this claim at the global and regional levels.
