‘Trainee allowed to fly solo’

PETALING JAYA: Royal Malaysian Air Force trainee pilots, including Lt Muda Mai Elny Sefrina Jalaluddin, have to pass various stages of training before they are allowed to fly solo, said Defence Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak. 

He said there was no question Lt Muda Mai Elny was ill-prepared to take to the sky by herself.
