PENANG: Penang has dealt a crushing blow to the country’s largest international mail-order syndicate with the seizure of more than RM1mil worth of pirated DVDs, VCDs and computer equipment yesterday.
The state Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry’s enforcement unit seized 30,055 discs and arrested five men and four women in simultaneous raids in five places.
