PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia and Singapore have agreed to retain the framework for collaboration and joint surveillance which the two countries have built up during the recent outbreak of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome.
Health Ministry secretary-general Datuk Alias Ali said the decision was made in preparation for the possible resurgence of the disease as well as future outbreaks of other diseases.
