KUALA LUMPUR: The Government will not back down on its decision to place VCDs, other optical disc products and all computer software on the controlled items list, said Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

“The decision has been made and we will enforce it. The meeting tomorrow (Thursday) is to get co-operation and feedback. The Cabinet has made the decision and I have no power to retract it,” he said at his ministry yesterday.
