Song resigns as MP, but no by-election

DATUK Song Swee Guan (BN– Bandar Kuching) has resigned as an MP, effective June 19. 

“He has submitted a letter to the Dewan Rakyat Speaker, dated June 19,” Deputy Speaker Datuk Muhammad Abdullah announced just before the sitting began yesterday morning.
