KUALA LUMPUR: Perak police, with the co-operation of the State Secretariat, have smashed a syndicate that stole and later forged approved licences for the setting up of video arcades in the state.
The syndicate, with the help of “State Secretariat insiders”, sold scores of such licences after illegally obtaining a genuine copy.
