KUALA LUMPUR: The election results of the Bukit Bendera and Tasek Gelugor MIC divisions in Penang have been nullified following allegations that delegates were bribed and taken to a pub for drinks.
In Bukit Bendera, the delegates were found to have been brought to a pub and given liquor before casting their votes for the division elections last month, MIC president Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu said.
