PORT KLANG: A second naval training ship costing between RM100mil and RM150mil will be built under the Ninth Malaysia Plan to boost the country's defence operations, Defence Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said yesterday.

He said the ship to be built by Naval Dockyard Sdn Bhd which is based in Langkawi, would measure about 100m and weigh about 3,000 tonnes, which is more than double the capacity of the KD Tunas Samudera, the naval training ship owned by the Royal Malaysian Navy.
