Duo sought over missing chef

Van Wezel: Missing since last month.

KUALA LUMPUR: Police are anxious to contact two foreigners believed to be either Algerians or Moroccans to assist in the disappearance of a Dutch national in Cameron Highlands last month. 

They are Djoudi Nacer @ Eric, aged 28 (Passport number: 3838710L) and another known only as Sam, also aged 28. 

Careljan Van Wezel, 47, a chef by profession, who was staying in a budget hotel, was last known to have made a withdrawal from an ATM in Tanah Rata. 

Police believe he could have been waylaid, robbed or abducted by a group of foreign criminals who have been targeting foreign tourists. 

Three foreigners have been arrested so far and are assisting police.
