'It's a sacrifice for development'

KUANTAN: The state government has admitted that some aspects of the environment have to be sacrificed for development and rivers are among the natural resources that will be affected.  

Deputy Mentri Besar Datuk Tan Aminuddin Ishak said yesterday tracts of land had to be cleared to make way for development but steps were taken to ensure that environmental damage was minimised.
