TAIPING: No DNA profile can be adduced from infected or fully degraded specimens, the High Court was told yesterday.
Prosecution witness Bakhtiar Kassim, a chemist attached with the Chemistry Department in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, however, said a DNA profile could be made from partly degraded specimens.
